Day 01 · Spain / Vancouver
Flight via a European city. Arrival and accommodation.
Day 02 · Vancouver
Stanley Park, Gastown with its steam clock, Chinatown, and Granville Island and its market. Free afternoon.
Day 03 · Vancouver / Victoria / Vancouver
The inter-island ferry, with whales and orcas in season. The Butchart Gardens, planted over a worked-out quarry, and time in Victoria.
Day 04 · Vancouver / Kamloops
Through the canyons of the Fraser and Thompson rivers, stopping at Hell’s Gate, where the river squeezes through a thirty-five-metre gap.
Day 05 · Kamloops / Jasper
Wells Gray Provincial Park and Mount Robson, the highest of the Canadian Rockies at nearly four thousand metres.
Day 06 · Jasper / Maligne Lake / Jasper
Medicine Lake, which empties and fills itself, Maligne Lake with lunch on the shore, and Maligne Canyon: fifty metres deep and two across.
Day 07 · Jasper / Icefields / Lake Louise
The Icefields Parkway, with Athabasca Falls, a walk on the glacier by Ice Explorer, and Peyto and Bow lakes.
Day 08 · Lake Louise / Banff / Calgary
Lake Louise with the Victoria Glacier behind it, free time in Banff, and on to Calgary.
Day 09 · Calgary / Spain
Free time and the flight home.
Day 10 · Spain
