Three islands in twelve days: Oahu for the history and the surf, the Big Island for the live volcanoes, and Maui for the beaches and the road to Hana. Hawaii is the United States, but only on the passport.
Day by day
Day 01 · Spain / Honolulu
Arrival and transfer.
Days 02 and 03 · Honolulu (Oahu)
A tour of Honolulu and Waikiki, with Pearl Harbor and the Arizona memorial. Free time for the north shore, where thirty-foot waves break in winter.
Day 04 · Honolulu / Kona
Flight to the Big Island, which is still growing: Kilauea has been erupting almost without pause since 1983.
Days 05 and 06 · Big Island
Two free days. We suggest Volcanoes National Park, the black sand beaches at Punaluu, and the Mauna Kea observatory after dark.
Day 07 · Kona / Maui
Flight to Maui: golden beaches, waterfalls, old Lahaina and the Haleakala crater at three thousand metres.
Days 08 and 09 · Maui
Two free days. The road to Hana has six hundred curves and fifty-nine bridges and takes a full day. Molokini, a sunken crater, is the best snorkelling on the island.
Days 10 to 12 · Maui / Spain
Flight home, a night on board, arrival and the end of the trip.
