Day 01 · Spain / Amman
Direct flight. Arrival and accommodation.
Day 02 · Amman / Jerash / Ajloun / Amman
The Citadel and the Roman theatre in the morning. Then Jerash, the best preserved Roman city outside Italy, and Ajloun castle.
Day 03 · Amman / Madaba / Mount Nebo / Dead Sea / Petra
Madaba and its mosaic, Mount Nebo, and a stop to float in the Dead Sea before carrying on to Petra.
Day 04 · Petra
A full day in the rose-red city of the Nabataeans, who controlled the incense routes for four centuries.
Day 05 · Petra / Wadi Rum / Amman
4×4 across the lunar landscape of Wadi Rum, where Lawrence of Arabia and half a dozen films about Mars were shot. Back to Amman.
Days 06 and 07 · Amman
Two free days. We suggest the desert castles, the Red Sea at Aqaba, or simply Rainbow Street at sunset.
Day 08 · Amman / Spain
Flight home.
