A cruise along the Kenai coast with lunch on board: whales, sea lions, otters and bald eagles. Back by train.
Day 04 · Anchorage / Talkeetna
The train through the Matanuska-Susitna valley, a boat trip on the river and a visit to a trapper’s cabin.
Day 05 · Talkeetna / Denali
On to Denali National Park and a free afternoon.
Day 06 · Denali / Fairbanks
The Tundra Wilderness Tour, around eight hours: grizzly bears, caribou, moose and Dall sheep. In the afternoon, the train to Fairbanks.
Day 07 · Fairbanks
The story of the Gold Rush, the University of Alaska Museum and a sternwheeler cruise on the Chena river.
Day 08 · Fairbanks / Anchorage
Flight to Anchorage and a free afternoon.
Day 09 · Anchorage / Spain
Return flight. Overnight on board.
Day 10 · Spain
Arrival and end of the trip.
