A tour of the city and the Grand Palace. Free afternoon.
Day 04 · Bangkok
A free day to explore the city.
Day 05 · Bangkok / Ayutthaya / Phimai / Khon Kaen
The archaeological ruins of Ayutthaya (Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Wat Mongkhon Bophit and Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon). In the afternoon, Phimai and the Sai Ngam park.
Day 06 · Khon Kaen / Phitsanulok / Sukhothai
The local market in Khon Kaen, the Nong Wang temple and a traditional village. A walk in Nam Nao and Wat Mahathat in Phitsanulok.
Day 07 · Sukhothai / Lampang / Chiang Rai
The archaeological park of Sukhothai, Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao in Lampang and a stop at Lake Phayao.
Days 08 and 09 · Chiang Rai / Golden Triangle
Doi Mae Salong and the Akha tea plantations. A boat trip on the Mekong and the Opium museum.
Day 10 · Chiang Mai
An elephant sanctuary, a bamboo raft ride down the river and an orchid farm.
Day 11 · Chiang Mai / Spain
Return flight. Overnight on board.
Day 12 · Spain
Arrival and end of the trip.
