Day 01 · Spain / Colombo
Departure flight. Overnight on board.
Day 02 · Colombo / Pinnawala / Kandy
Arrival and on to Kandy, with a stop at the Pinnawala elephant centre.
Day 03 · Kandy / Peradeniya / Kandy
A walk through the tea plantations, a Ceylon tea factory and the Peradeniya Botanical Garden. In the afternoon, the Temple of the Tooth and traditional dancing.
Day 04 · Kandy / Mahiyanganaya / Passikudah
The Mahiyanganaya temple along the way and arrival at Passikudah beach.
Days 05 and 06 · Passikudah
Free days on the beach, with optional snorkelling, diving or kayaking.
Day 07 · Passikudah / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya
The ruins of Polonnaruwa and Gal Vihara, and the climb up Sigiriya Lion Rock.
Day 08 · Sigiriya / Dambulla / Colombo
The cave temple of Dambulla and the return to Colombo.
Day 09 · Colombo / Spain
Return flight. Overnight on board.
Day 10 · Spain
Arrival and end of the trip.
